Thompson_greg_pic_2_4 Greg Thompson, a CGO Contributor of the once and future sort, has been elected the new Senior Pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville, VA.  Greg was the RUF pastor at UVa for 5 years, ensorcelling grad student me into weekly attendance at an undergrad ministry. The brother can preach!

(And shepherd, and listen and a dozen other things that don't attract attention.)

Anyway, feel free to give GT a shout-out, encouragement, or whatever you think is appropriate.

That's great news. The couple of sermons I've heard from Greg have been great stuff, and I'm so glad that Trinity has a secure senior pastor with his kind of vision to lead them in the coming years. Very exciting indeed.
Although, Greg needs to record some more of his hymn re-writes. The 3 I've heard have been amazing, and my sources in C'ville tell me he has even better ones in his back pocket.
